This page is dedicated to our awesome friend, Courtney Glenny, who has worked hard to raise as much money as she possibly can each year she has participated in this event, and, all others who have done the same! It is a truely remarkable event that brings people from all walks of life together to educate, remember, and celebrate during a 3 day, 60 mile walk, and, to raise money that is put towards finding a cure!

A little note from Courtney:

There are many reasons why I participate in this event. I have had many people in my life affected by various types of cancer. My amazing dad is a cancer survivor, as well as my uncle and I have had friends whose moms have battled or are now battling breast cancer. In addition, my husband has already lost family to cancer and, currently, his grandfather, uncle, and cousin are fighting their own battles. I really don't want to have to add anymore people to this list.

So far, I have put about 30 miles on my training shoes walking the campus of Grand Canyon University after work. By the time I actually walk the event in November, I will have walked more than 500 miles, so the 60 in 3 days should be a piece of cake! (Let's hope)
